‘ I would have been president if not for music’ – Kofi Kinaata

Celebrated Ghanaian artiste Martin King Arthur known professionally as Kofi Kinaata has disclosed his political aspirations.

The reigning Best Highlife Artiste of the Year at the VGMA24 awards ceremony shared that if he had not pursued a career in music, he would have set his sights on becoming the President of Ghana.

During a conversation with Jay Kojo Daasebre (JKD) on Xzone, Kofi Kinaata opened up about his childhood ambition.

He acknowledged that although he currently has no plans to delve into politics due to his commitment to his music career, he would not hesitate to answer the call of duty if destiny presented him with the opportunity to serve as President in the future.

Kofi emphasized that he possesses a multitude of plans and ideas aimed at positively impacting the lives of citizens.

”I would have been president if not for music but now I don’t seem to be interested, I had two choices and I chose one so another person can go for the Presidency. We will definitely support the individual”, he said.
